In Above the Noise we’ve collaborated with people who live and work in the district to explore how they make and shape Bradford using media technologies.

As the exhibiton run has gone on there is one exhibt that we’ve added to. We kicked off the Bradford film exhibit with Peaceophobia! a film by Speaker’s Corner made with Common Wealth but we have since done a call for films to add.

This week we have added Moving the City which tells a story of Bradford. We asked people in Bradford: What do you like about your city? Here we are dancing the answers! The music video was filmed at the National Science and Media Museum and was a collaboration between choreographer Tricia Arthur-Stubbs and Yorkshire adults and children.

And coming soon we will be adding a film from the theatre company Mind the Gap called Daughters of Fortune which explores the experience of learning disabled parents in Bradford and other parts of the north of England.
